Detroit Handball League Registration (Session 4)
The Detroit Handball League is a 5-game adult team handball league designed to provide athletes the opportunity to learn and compete in the sport of Olympic handball. Players are placed on either Hamtramck HC or Midtown HC, and will receive coaching from Detroit Handball Club players and coaches.

NO HANDBALL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Schedule:
     - August 12th: Handball 101 Training Session
     - August 19th: Match #1
     - August 26th: Match #2
     - September 2nd: Match #3
     - September 9th: Match #4
     - September 16th: Match #5
     - September 27th: Professional European club tryout (invitation only)

Participants will receive:

     -An official match jersey
     -5 matches (2x30 minute halves)
     -Weekly team highlight videos
     -Statistics (goals, shooting %)
     -Handball referee training (optional)
     -Detroit Handball Club roster consideration
 
Players in the DHL will be evaluated and considered for opportunities to train and tryout for professional handball clubs in Europe. In fact, select players  from this session of the DHL will be invited to participate in a weeklong training camp with a professional team in Europe ( at their own expense) in late-September 2021.

Location: Matches will at the Detroit Masonic Temple (457 Charlotte St. Detroit, MI; park across from Founders Brewing). Alternative locations maybe used, but will be communicated to participants.
Time: 8:00-9:30pm
Cost: $75
