Creating Connections and Sharing Knowledge: started as a WorkFace Planning networking group on LinkedIn in 2011, the group has grown and changed and become the Advanced Work Packaging Community of Practice Group. We rebooted and rebranded the group in 2020, and announced plans to increase the service offerings to create value for members and increase membership. This will include global and regional communities. The vision of the CoP is Safer, More Productive, Value-Creating Project Delivery Through Improved Design, Procurement, Execution, Commissioning and Startup. The mission is Creating a Community to Share Knowledge, Encourage Discussion and Promote Adoption of Advanced Work Packaging and Other Related Construction Productivity Initiatives. The AWP CoP is currently offering a weekly live webinar series featuring industry SMEs covering AWP and project performance topics, and additional services are in development.
