Group archery enquiry
Thanks for your interest in a group event at Mountain Green Archery Club! To help us respond clearly, please fill out the information below.

If your enquiry is outside our remit (i.e. during weekday business hours) we will not be able to assist.

We also have an indoor range available anytime, with more limited equipment and space.

At both venues, our club's scheduled events have priority, AND we match your request with trained coaches who can guide your group's archery journey. We balance your request with the ranges' and coaches' schedules to find a time that works for all. The more information you can give us on this form, the better we can do at responding clearly.

Our group events are priced per-person. We charge $50 per person. Other rates may be available for recognised charities or incorporated society community group - please note in your request if your group is of this nature.

Please note: Our ranges are strictly no-alcohol at all times.
No alcohol is allowed within our range spaces at any time, and any people who are under the effects of alcohol or other substances will be unable to participate in the archery session, with no refund of their portion of the cost.

Are you requesting an event during 'usual' business hours? Our coaches and volunteers often work during the 'usual' workday and are not often available during those times, so requests during these periods may not be successful.

Are you contacting us with enough advance notice? We need time to contact coaches/volunteers and confirm schedules; we recommend you enquire at least three weeks in advance of the desired event.

Do you prefer our outdoor range on Ōwairaka, or our indoor range in Massey? *
Our outdoor range hours are limited due to our lease; we cannot shoot at the outdoor range outside of the advertised times, and our scheduled events have priority. Our indoor range is accessible 24/7 but has more limited space and equipment, so is not suitable for all groups. For our hours: https://mgac.org.nz/outdoor-hours/

Children younger than 10 are generally not successful at learning archery techniques due to the strength and concentration required to do this safely. We also do not have equipment suitable for use by children younger than 10 years old.
