Fees cover team league registration, jerseys, socks, referee fees and other club expenses. Your player will not be an active member of our club until fees are paid. Thanks! After team registrations have been paid and jerseys ordered, fees are non-refundable.
Our club practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4:15 throughout the entire season. Practices will be used for team building and working on drills designed to help us succeed as a team on the field. We will not practice in the rain, but games are played in all weather with the exception of storms with lightning. We play games on Mondays and Wednesdays, usually at 5:00 for the Gold team and 6:30 for the Blue team. Our game times/locations and dates are subject to the availability of opponents and referees. Players will need their own transportation to and from games because soccer is a club and the school does not provide buses. Car pooling is encouraged and if schedules allow, we may be able to ride to games with other sports going to the same locations.
Players and fans are representatives of our community and themselves. Please bring your best to the classroom and the field. Playing time is based on teamwork, as well as skill. Everyone will play.
Practices begin around the middle of August (probably a week before school starts) and our game season runs from around the second week of September to the end of October. We generally have 12 games - 6 home and 6 away games. The club will provide home and away jerseys and socks to be worn for all games. Players may wear their own dark colored (black or navy) shorts. Please bring your own water bottle to all games and practices. We will provide balls for the club.
We are planning to open a spirit store so players and fans can get sweatshirts, long-sleeved shirts, and other St. Joe Soccer gear during the season. Look for that info on REMIND when it is available.
