The GEN National Policy Lead position (also known as GEN Policy National Ambassador) is awarded to one individual per country. The individual should play a central role in their country's entrepreneurship policymaking activities - either as an official or advisor in a government ministry or executive agency, or as a leading policy advocate in a think tank or similar organization.  The individual should be recognized as a leading voice in their country's entrepreneurship policy community. 

GEN National Policy Leads act as ambassadors, recruiting new members, sharing local insights with the network, and acting as the point of contact within their country for anyone (locally or globally) wanting to connect with the local entrepreneurship policy community. GEN National Policy Leads are appointed by GEN.
