India is hosting the G20 in September 2023.  The C20 is an official engagement group of the G20 that functions to channel the voice of civil society organisations on the aspirations and concerns of global citizens on achieving sustainable social and economic development while leaving no one behind. It aims to make concrete policy proposals to G20 that improve societal well-being through communal knowledge-sharing and discussion.

Our working group addresses Technology Security & Transparency TST  policy issues from the perspective of civil society organizations.  The focal issues related to technology include affordable access, ethics, privacy, and artificial intelligence.  Security matters involve both physical and non-physical dimensions including safety of vulnerable people, data security, cybersecurity, and financial security.  Transparency is a vital element for fostering accountability and systems of trust are needed for societal development.
