This application is for a Tap Room Server AKA "Beertender." Brewhouse positions are filled.

About us: We are a production brewery and tap room, and have poured our hearts and souls into this company for several years. We opened our doors in June of 2017, and currently have a few fabulous and dedicated employees. Our mission is to create a place of community, conversation and connection for locals and beer lovers. At present (December 2023) we are fully staffed in the Tap Room and Brewhouse.

Job Title: Tap Room Server

Schedule: Part-Time (7-15 hours per week)

Starting hourly rate commensurate with experience

General Responsibilities:

- Greet guests, fill orders, serve beer and non-alcoholic beverages
- Cashier orders, handle cash
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Answer questions about beer (various styles, processes, etc.) with confidence
- General cleaning: Bus tables, wash dishes, sweep, mop, clean growlers and other items, etc.
- Duties also include lifting heavy items such as chairs/tables and empty kegs (sometimes team-lifting full kegs).
- Handle cleaning/sanitizing chemicals.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Interest in craft beer industry a must, detailed knowledge of local and national craft brands a plus
- Alcohol Server Awareness Training will be required within 30 days of hire (we'll provide info on courses and pay for training)
- Prior cash handling experience preferred
- Must be able to stand on your feet 4-5 hours at a time
- Ability to do physical work in a loud environment.
- Must be able to lift up to ~30-40 pounds
- Ability to handle exposure to humid/wet, cold and/or hot conditions
- Ability to maintain friendly demeanor under stressful conditions - however, you must also be willing to draw boundaries (i.e., serve responsibly).
- Ability to take direction well, following verbal and written standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Multi-tasking and team-oriented work ethic essential, reliability is a must.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Flexible scheduling based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays is a must.
