St. Mary School 2020-21 Instructional Delivery Survey
Just like all schools across the country, we are working toward a plan for what our next school year might look like based on current information and recommended practices. These recommendations come from the Office of Catholic Education through the Archdiocese of Indianapolis as well as Governor Holcomb, the State Department of Education, and our local Decatur County Health Department.
While we do generally utilize the Greensburg Community Schools calendar for transportation purposes, our method of delivery of instruction to our students remains our choice. Currently there are three possible models which have been suggested for instructional delivery, and we are asking for your input regarding each of these. While no choice during this difficult time will ever be perfect, we hope that this information will help us to make the best decision possible for our school families.

The three options we are investigating are:
--A traditional school day with your child attending in-person each day of the week
--Continued eLearning instruction, involving learning in the eLearning format with a focus for 2020-2021 on priority standards
--A hybrid situation involving a combination of eLearning and in-person learning
*Please note: Any in-person learning would need to follow the recommended guidelines as directed by the Office of Catholic Education through the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, Governor Holcomb, the State Department of Education, and our local Decatur County Health Department. This may include wearing masks, temperature checks, restricted movement in the building, etc.
