Please fill out the information on each page for your family. Failure to complete this document may result in your child being routed incorrectly or not being placed on a route. Please note you will need to fill out a form for EACH student in your household.
This form is required each year, even if your child was bused in the last year, to ensure we have correct pick up and drop off information. Transportation forms are required to be completed by June 1st to guarantee routing the first week of summer school.
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE CHILDREN IN YOUR FAMILY, YOU WILL NEED TO FILL OUT A REGISTRATION FORM FOR EACH CHILD.
Student Transportation Criteria:
Transportation shall be provided to all resident students living within alternative busing areas (i.e. hazardous). GoRiteway will determine the best stop based on student's home address
An adult must be present for the bus to drop-off students in 4K-2nd grade. If an adult is not present, the bus company will attempt to call the parent, if someone cannot be reached the student may be returned to the district after the route is completed. Transportation services for a 4K-2nd grade student may be suspended or terminated should a parent or guardian repeatedly fail to be present at the designated drop-off point.
There will be stops accessible for students Kindergarten to 5th grade free of charge at designated pick up points or corner stops located in the City of Watertown Area. A designated route bus picks up students at an assigned stop and then will transport students to their school of attendance. NO BUS WILL PICK UP FROM ANY OTHER POINT THEN THE ASSIGNED ROUTE POINT. All students who utilize the busing service will be assigned a route and a seat on the bus. YOU WILL NEED TO FILL OUT THIS BUS REGISTRATION FORM EVEN IF YOUR CHILD WILL ONLY USE THE BUS 1 TIME.
Please allow a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks for bus changes or new registrations for busing added throughout the school year to be processed and changes implemented. FORMS MUST BE FILLED OUT IN ORDER TO INSURE TRANSPORTATION FOR YOUR STUDENT. GoRiteway is committed to providing safe transportation solutions in the Watertown Community.
For Contract Tracing purposes, any student assigned to a route will remain on that route in an assigned seat to and from their school of attendance.
