Read to Succeed Asheville/Buncombe is on a mission to help close the race-based opportunity gap through community-powered literacy programming that engages children, families, and community partners.

Our volunteers serve as reading tutors for local K-4 students throughout the school year, pitch in with family reading events, host live read alouds for after-school and summer program partners, assist with office coordination and library management, and more.
