ELELS Yizkor Service List 2020
Yizkor (Memorial) Service

ELELS’s custom during the Memorial Service has been to read out loud the names of those being remembered by members. We want to ensure that the reading of names does not go on for so long that it becomes hard to maintain the right atmosphere of reflection. This is at a particular premium this year, given the increased concentration needed to follow services online.

We therefore ask that you only provide names if you plan to attend the online service on Yom Kippur late afternoon.

Further, may we please encourage you to list a family or a couple together, rather than as individual names and to limit yourself to using the form three times at most. This will help everyone to receive the succour they need from the Memorial Service.

Please submit names by Sunday 20th September, so that we can collate the list together appropriately.
