Application for Organizing Sustainability (Online)
Fall 2020 applications are now open! The deadline for this application is September 15th so please make sure to submit your application before that to be considered. Please note that this program is limited to only 25 participants and the deadline might be closed earlier when the limit of participants is met.

Organizing Sustainability is an 8-week course that takes place in the Fall and Winter semesters, introducing the basics of community organizing for sustainability and environmental justice. It is open to students, community members, and others interested in environmental and social advocacy.

Participants will follow an experiential curriculum focused both on learning the analytical and organizational skills required for environmental advocacy, as well as fostering safety and long term relationships among participants.

This program is free, and upon completion, with an 85% participation rate, students will be provided with a certificate. The course will start from September 23rd and end on November 11th and it will be once a week, every Wednesday, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Zoom.

We value the contributions that individuals who identify as members of marginalized communities bring to our organization. We encourage Indigenous people, people of colour, people with disabilities, people identifying as LGBT*QI, women, immigrants and people from working class backgrounds to apply. We recognize that this list is neither exhaustive nor representative of the intersectionality present within each individual.
