- No auditions, but students must know all of the music prior to coming.
- Students in grades 4-6 can participate.
- Each school can send a maximum of 15 students.
- Registration will be closed when the chorus reaches 120 students.
- $35 registration fee (per student) includes the concert shirt.
- Music can be ordered from J&B Music by completing this form: https://form.jotform.com/222086519351152. STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE ORIGINAL MUSIC.
- Practice tracks can be accessed via the ArkMEA website (arkmea.org).
Honor String Ensemble information:
- No auditions, but students must know all of the music prior to coming.
- Students in grades 3-6 can participate.
- There will be 2 string ensembles: beginning and intermediate.
- Each school can send a maximum of 6 students.
- Registration will be closed when each ensemble reaches 45 students (90 total).
- $35 registration fee (per student) includes the concert shirt.
- Music can be ordered from J&B Music by completing this form: https://form.jotform.com/222086519351152. STUDENTS/SCHOOLS SHOULD PURCHASE ORIGINAL MUSIC.
- Beginning String Ensemble: Must be able to use a bow, identify the open strings and play a D Major Pentatonic Scale (D, E, F#, G, A).
- Intermediate String Ensemble: Must be Able to Play D Major Scale and G Major Scale (familiar with C Natural), and least 2 Years of String Playing Experience.
- Individual ensemble break down: 16 violins, 10 Viola, 12 Cello, 7 Bass
