Read Something Do Something Grant
The Read Something Do Something Grant will be awarded to a school librarian to create, implement or continue a project that teaches social justice using school library resources
Non-Georgia Educator: $250 award
Georgia Librarians Award:  $500 award and 1 year membership fee to GLMA

The Read Something Do Something Award recognizes and encourages programming and book curation that teaches social justice using school library resources. The award is to acknowledge teaching by school librarians and the use of school library resources to
Amplify the voices of people of the global majority
Provide information about groups that have been disenfranchised
Share perspectives of people who have been underrepresented or oppressed
Challenge social norms and disrupt the status quo
Encourage readers to take action in their community
