DC Stanfa Memorial Writers’ Award Application
The Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop is offering two DC Stanfa Memorial Writers’ Awards for the Oct. 20-22 in-person workshop at the University of Dayton. Deadline: April 15.

The awards will cover registration, travel and hotel expenses for writers who demonstrate financial need and would benefit from the encouragement Erma Bombeck received when her English professor told her three magic words: “You can write!” Preference will be given to underrepresented writers.

Successful applicants will offer the selection committee a clear financial case and rationale for why they should be chosen. We don’t require financial documents. We want to hear about your financial situation and your aspirations as a writer.
