To My Autistic Friends...
Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your experiences growing up on the spectrum and providing insights that future "autism parents" might use to better support their autistic children.  Please write as much as you want/need, most of the boxes will expand as you type!

I am writing a book for parents of newly diagnosed children with the goal of delivering a hope-filled, inspirational book that focuses on supporting the child using empathy and understanding. I am convinced that if we can provide parents new to autism with a guide that is at once inspirational and informational, their children will grow up feeling more supported and they will be better advocates for the autism community at large. My plan is to include your insights alongside input from seasoned autism parents who have filled out a similar set of questions.
