This scholarship was created to honor Tom Suda, who was a great supporter, educator, judge and friend of the Michigan Educational Theatre Association.  Tom's positive energy embodied the core values of the EdTA.  Tom served all of his students equally.  This scholarship is intended to honor one Thespian who also shares these values.  Please nominate only one student by answering the questions below.  Unlike our other scholarships, the student you nominate DOES NOT need to study theatre or the communication arts after high school.  We suggest that you don't tell your student they were nominated before Festival, since this scholarship is only awarded to one student.  The student you nominate should be the 'unsung hero' from your troupe that serves in the best interest of of all the students in your program.   The recipient will be announced during the Awards Ceremony at the Festival.
