Camp Details

Monday, August 26th -Thursday August 29th 2024
Jack Goddard Arena & Ball Park Fields

Grand Forks Minor Hockey is offering a pre season camp to help kids get ready for the season. We focus on  power skating, skill development, conditioning and games. This is a week full of fun, great coach to player ratio and a positive learning environment to kick off the year. 

*All kids who attend camp must be fully registered in Alberta or BC minor hockey

*Every participant will need full hockey equipment, water bottle, running shoes, a snack and dryland clothes

Meet and greet will be Sunday August 25th from 4-5pm to pick up jersey and sign in for the week. 

Groups

Group 1 (2014-2016)second year U9 and U11

8:00am-12:15pm (2 ice sessions, 1 dryland)

Cost $300


Group 2 (2012-2013) U13

12:30-4:45pm (2 ice sessions, 1 dryland)

Cost $300


Group 3- Intro to hockey (2017-2019) U7-U9 or new to hockey

5:00-6:00pm

Cost: $125


Group 4- Goalie Development- All ages

5:15-5:45pm Off ice warm up

6:15-7:30pm On ice session

Cost $200


Group #5 (2011-2007) U15-U18 Recreation

7:45-9:00pm

Cost $150

***Goalies have a Goalie Development session and a Skill/Game session with their Age Group (2.5 hours of ice each day) Goalies will only be able to go to day camp ice time # 2 session if they are the same age as the day camp players. If we are short goalies we may make exceptions. 


 * A week before camp, a detailed email will be sent to participants regarding the camp, instructions, and specific details about the week plan.

By enrolling for the 2024 Grand Forks Minor Hockey Association (GFMHA) Hockey Camp, participant understands that he/she attending the programs and using GFMHA services and the facilities does so at his/her own risk. GFMHA and its board members, employees, agents, and volunteers shall not be liable for any damage whatsoever arising from any personal injury or property loss sustained by participant with his/her family in or about any programs on the premises. Participants and parents assume full responsibility for all injuries and damages which occur in or about any programs on the premises.
