Thank you for your interest in adopting a
dog/cat from CWS!
Applicants are screened with the dogs' needs in
mind to ensure they are suitable fit. Each application is assessed for
compatibility, lifestyle, care and commitment. If we find that you and the dog/cat are a match, we will contact you typically within days to continue with the
adoption/foster process. We will try our best to reach out to all our
applicants within a short period of time to inform them of our decision.
Although the applicant may not be chosen for the dog/cat they applied for, we may
suggest another dog that has met the adopter/foster's criteria or contact them
at a later stage when another dog becomes available. Please note that we
reserve the right to deny an applicant if we feel the criteria of our adoption
or fostering commitment and compatibility is not met with that of the dog/cat.
Given we are a non-profit organization, and our staff are made up of
volunteers, we cannot ensure all the applicants are contacted within the
prescribed timelines. We will endeavor to achieve these goals should the circumstances
allow.
A- adoption fees for cats are on case-to-case basis.
B- adoption fees for dogs:
1-
If our dogs
are already located in Canada, fees are on case-to-case
basis. (Payment plan is available)
2- If the dogs are flying from Lebanon to
Canada: (Payment plan is available)
- CAD1000
3- For EU countries, Titer test
is mandatory, and the cost will be included in the adoption fees, there is a
waiting period of at least 3 months after TT results.
Fees
are on case-to-case basis and related to destination & travelling costs.
***Please remember that all our dogs were rescued in Lebanon and subsequently
flown to find their amazing forever homes. Our fees include but not limited to:
Travel ticket, microchip, Rabies
titer test from EU laboratory (for EU ONLY), CBC blood work, health certification, travel
crate and vet expenses, travel Angel fees, pet finder fees, customs fees both in
Lebanon and country of destination.
