My name is Sonal Bahri, and I am interested in the position of President Elect for Georgia NAPNAP. I worked as an RN for 11 years in PICU/ CVICU prior to obtaining my MSN in 2015. I completed the Primary Care PNP program at Indiana University School of Nursing, and began working with the Pediatric Pulmonology Group at Riley Hospital for Children. In this role, I worked inpatient with the Pulmonary Hypertension team, Chronic vent team, as well as outpatient in asthma clinic. In 2016, my family and I moved to San Francisco, CA (the sunshine state!) and I worked as a PNP in Pediatric Anesthesia at Lucile Packard Children’s for a brief time before moving to Alpharetta, GA in 2017. I began working with the Medically Complex Care Program at Scottish Rite in October 2017 and enjoy working with medically fragile children. I have been married for almost 13 years, and am a proud mom of two boys, ages 9 and 7 years old. We also have an 11 year dog named Ellie who we love to spend time with. I have been a member of NAPNAP since 2015, and am passionate about caring for pediatric patients and families of all backgrounds. I am interested in joining the GA NAPNAP board, because I would like to increase interest and engagement in NAPNAP amongst our community. Having worked as an NP in other states, I have seen how valuable being a member of NAPNAP can be, in providing education, networking, and legislative support for the advancement of our profession.
