PART 1 : 2024 Oregon Pasture Network Membership Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming an Oregon Pasture Network Member so that we can expand pasture based agriculture, together. This application is designed to help us get an initial picture of your farm operation, your pastures, your processes and management style. We collect both quantitative and qualitative information for the purpose of understanding how we can best serve our members, based on their needs - without having to make any assumptions*. For us to do this successfully, we ask that you please answer the quantitative questions in Part 1 and the qualitative questions in Part 2, in entirety.

[Note: This application is much easier to fill out on a computer or tablet than on your mobile device.]

Once your application is complete, we will contact you to set up a site visit with one of our Advisory Committee members and one of our staff members so that we can meet you in person, see your farm and animals in real time and practice and learn about your pastured products.

*This information is for OPN purposes only. In order to build power for the network, engage in effective advocacy, and leverage our membership that truly benefits OPN farmers, it is important to know who we represent. All farm data will only be shared in aggregate form (i.e. we currently represent 75 farms with a total of 9000 acres in production in Oregon) and your individual farm information will never be shared without your consent. We will not publicly share contact information unless you permit us to do so for marketing purposes. Your farm email address will automatically be added to our email list.

We ask these questions to make sure that we know who is in the program. Since this project is meant to create a wealth of resources for all the pastured farmers of Oregon, we ask about these factors of your identity to make sure that perspectives are included from farmers with all types of backgrounds. Asking these questions keeps us accountable to our commitment to equitable access in this process. It has no bearing on your ability to participate in the program, but providing this info helps us understand who is in the room and who may have been left out by our recruitment strategies.

Directions:
   * PART 1 of this application will take approximately 30 minutes to fill out and is mostly rooted in gathering quantitative information about you and your farm. PART 2 will be about the same, but more qualitative, both driven by the goal that it will provide a comprehensive view of your farm to ensure the high standards and integrity of this program - a Pasture Network that you are proud to be a part of!
     * Please remember to read the Pasture Pledge prior to filling out the application form: http://www.friendsoffamilyfarmers.org/pasture-pledge/
     * You will be able to adjust your answers to this application before or after submitting, BUT you must log in from the same browser and same device.

We hope you are excited to get started, and look forward to seeing your application!

If you have any questions or need any assistance in completing the application, please feel free to contact us at: opn@friendsoffamilyfarmers.org.
