Course Description:
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction and basic first aid emergencies. Upon successful completion, participants will receive American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification through the American Red Cross. There will be required online lecture/content to be completed prior to attending the skills session. During the in-person session, skills for Adult and Child CPR/AED, choking, and first aid will be demonstrated, practiced, and assessed.
