Welcome to the GB Women’s Masters application for the squad attending WBUC 2022 in LA next April. Over the next eight months we are looking to build a squad that can compete at the highest level internationally and highlight the strength of women’s ultimate in the UK.

We will be organising trials, training and a warm up tournament (or two) to best prepare the squad for Worlds, which if successful, you'll be expected to attend. Trials are open to everyone.

From the trials we will be looking to select a team of 15 players, as well as an additional 4 to 8 training squad/reserve members that will allow us to maintain intensity during the season and push the development of players in the UK.

The trial element will give you the opportunity to showcase your skills, and allow us to select a highly competitive and cohesive team. We will be looking at skill level, athleticism, attitude, grit and ability to adopt the team ethos.

Eligibility: 30 years old as of 31st December 2022 (i.e. you were born on or before 31st December, 1992 and will be 30 in 2022)

Trials (2 of the 3 weekends below):

Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th September – Sandbanks (Bournemouth)

Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th September – Norfolk

October 23rd & 24th - Sandbanks (Bournemouth)

1 weekend every 3 or 4 weeks from November to March, dates tbc - Inland beach facility/coastal beach

WBUC
Dates and location are still to be confirmed but currently expected to be Saturday 2nd to Saturday 9th April 2022 in LA, California (USA).
We are intending to arrive a few days early to the tournament in order to acclimatise and train.


If for any reason you are unable to attend one of the above dates, please inform us of your situation in the Additional Comments section so we can support you where possible. We will also be working with other GB managers to prevent clashes where possible.
