Tumwater’s After-School Program provides opportunities for students interested in participating in extracurricular activities. For our Technology Club, we will be meeting on Monday from 3:50 pm – 4:50 pm tentatively planned from 10/3/2022 to 5/25/2023. Please fill out this form with your parent/guardian.
In this tech club, students will explore various software to be able to solve a problem that they have in the locally, nationally, and or globally. The interests of students will guide the direction of the class.
Here are some of the topics that students have expressed interest in:
1. Website design with CSS and html.
2. 3-D design with Tinkercad
3. Virtual reality design
4. Video game design using Make code and Co-space
5. Animations using various software
6. Movie making for Signal to Noise (Includes sound design)
7. Graphic design for the web
8. Robotics
9. App design
10. Digital Art
11. Intro to film /We Video/imovie
Please note, students do not need to come to every session. They can drop-in when needed if they have a parent pick-up or walk home. Please make sure to fill out if the student will need bus transportation.
