SftP Palestine organizing sign-up
As scientists, workers, and activists with clear conscience and knowledge about the ongoing atrocities in Palestine, we must do our parts. The organization-wide action is subdivided into five areas of work, coordinated by steering committee members. Specific actions are not limited to examples given below, as we welcome new proposals.

A. Coordinating direct action: Designing, sharing, printing, flyering and postering materials; providing support to plan anti-militarist, anti-Zionist counterrecruiment actions with local SftP chapters.

B. Labor: (Requires union membership and contacts) Strategizing ways to politicize the Palestinian cause within unions; connecting with and engaging union membership to take on Palestinian solidarity work (in collaboration or supported by SftP); raising issues of political repression by Zionists as issues of worker exploitation.

C. Research: Keeping track of and disseminating pro-Palestine events, such as marches, teach-ins, webinars, etc; collecting information and making database of political repression cases (e.g. the firing of eLife editor); studying Zionist activities on university campuses (e.g. Canary Mission and the likes); identifying vulnerable groups we can offer solidarity; understanding current landscape/strategies/alliances of Palestine activism.

D. OutreachOrganizing local/online teach-in, presenting and discussing SftP magazine articles; offering analyses of history and structure to aid anti-imperialist political education.

E. Writing: As laid out by the rhetorical questions from the SftP statement, participating in writing articles for SftP magazine and other outlets to address questions on the role of science in imperialism and liberation.
