Sign Up: Veterans Climbing Day

Ascent is excited to partner with Southern Connecticut State University to provide 4 indoor or outdoor rock climbing programs per quarter for CT’s disabled veterans and members of the Armed Forces with disabilities.

Climbers will be introduced to climbing, master the follow-through figure-eight knot, and learn how to belay (manage the ropes).

Pricing: FREE

Day passes, equipment and professional climbing instructors provided.
No climbing experience is required.

Adaptive Climbing:  Veterans and members of the Armed Forces with physical and/or invisible disabilities are encouraged to participate. In most cases, we can provide specialized approaches and equipment for climbers with amputations, VI/blind, HI/deaf, spinal cord injury, TBI, PTSD, neurological disabilities, etc.
