Title IX Plaza Stories
While Title IX did not specifically mention sports—it led to an explosion of talent, access and opportunity for women and girls. Through inclusion, a diverse population of female athletes have won championships, finished on podiums, coached others, or have become leaders outside of sports.

Are you or someone you know an athlete that was impacted by Title IX? The Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission would like to hear from you, for possible inclusion in a Title IX Plaza slated for installation on the Border-to-Border Trail within the  Dexter-Huron Metropark.
