Membership and Participation
KAFCAM is a regional alliance composed of local churches, agencies, ministries, and community advocates who encourage, equip, and connect to serve foster and adoptive children and families in the Knoxville area, as well as advocate for first family preservation when possible. If that’s your desire, participating with KAFCAM amplifies your efforts.
KAFCAM will offer:

Joint community calendar (

o
Ability to email leaders in the Knox area adoption/foster care community
o
Annual community conference
o
Quarterly community connections
Members will:
o
Submit application to KAFCAM Leadership Team for review.
o
Email church logo to
team@kafcam.org for the website. (High resolution .jpg or
layered .psd)
o
Attend a minimum of 2/4 KAFCAM community connections per year.
o
Read, accept, and sign the KAFCAM Statement of Faith.
o
Acknowledge and accept the purpose and direction of KAFCAM by completing the
KAFCAM Membership Agreement.
o
Attend, volunteer, host, or invite your families to two orphan-related events per year
(examples include orientations, lunches, fundraisers, Orphan Sunday, Empowered to
Connect conference, KAFCAM conference or community connections, etc.).
Upon receipt of the above mentioned items, applicants will be considered provisional members until officially approved by the KAFCAM Leadership Team. Applicants will receive notification of acceptance by email.
