We'd love to see how well you write "bottom of the funnel" content (search terms where people are looking to buy, comparing products, etc.) since that's what we do primarily.
We're asking this because often candidates submit writing samples that are not similar to BOFU content. In our experience, the skillset that you use to writing a compelling story, white paper, or email sequence doesn't necessarily translate to writing BOFU content. Can you go to
vocalvideo.com and look around their website, try to understand the product, it's value props, who it's for and what differentiates it from other solutions and write anywhere from a few sentences to a few paragraphs pitching it or selling it to its target audience the way we do in our bottom of funnel blog post examples on our job page for this role?
Watching the 8 min product tour video on
https://vocalvideo.com/tour may also help you.
We're aware that your time is important and don't want this to be a full project -- keep it short (300 words or less).
Finally, we understand some applicants don't want to do this part of the application. If you'd rather us simply evaluate your test project on the merits of your samples, please just write "N/A."
