THE PROJECT

We are looking for volunteers to help catalogue the Radio Monash LP collection (approx 5000 LPs) in the Student Union Recreational Library. This role would be ideal for people who:

 > have an interest in music, archiving, or libraries
 > are organised and have excellent attention to detail
 > have typing, data entry, computer searching skills

Tasks include
 > preserving old/fragile records in protective sleeves
 > researching albums to locate relevant information
 > entering catalogue information in specified formats

and can be done either socially in a group, or alone if you prefer quiet.

TIMELINE

The project will begin in January and likely continue for a few months. We will host a series of working bees; please indicate your availability, and we will confirm with you prior to the date. Ideally we are looking for volunteers who can come in regularly.

You will need to attend on Clayton Campus.
