*FOR STUDENTS who will be in the 6th grade during the 2021-22 school year.

All 6th grade students are scheduled in required core courses (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health and PE), but also have elective course options.

ELECTIVE COURSES - 6th grade students could take up to TWO elective classes each trimester. Availability of elective classes is subject to staffing and student enrollment.

NOTE: If it is determined that a student needs additional support in a class, an elective may be replaced by a class that will provide the student with the help necessary to succeed in that subject area. Academic support class placement is based on skill level, test scores, and teacher recommendations.

- Exploratory Wheel (Exploring Arts, Foods, Exploring Music, World Language and/or World Culture)
- STEM Exploring Wheel (Industrial Technology, Career Exploration, Video Production, Tools of Technology, and/or Exploring Science)
Please note that exact elective class options will be determined at a later date.

Music teachers will determine FINAL class placements
