League of Innovators Labs Accelerator Program Batch 12 Application

We are so happy you are here applying to the Labs national virtual accelerator program for youth-led Canadian startups (for-profit businesses | social enterprises | enterprising non-profits - with an earned income model).

Applications are open from December 20th 2023 until January 22nd 11:59 pm pst (Vancouver), on a rolling basis! Early Acceptance (more information below) deadline for form submission is January 7th. Labs Batch 12 begins February 26th, 2024 and will last 12 weeks.

Please fill out one application per venture. 50% or more of your co-founding team must be 25 years or younger (in the year you are applying) to apply for this program. We have made age exceptions in the past up to under 30 on a case-by-case basis. The estimated time to complete the application is one hour.

Application Process: 

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the review will lead to one of the following outcomes:

Labs Batch 12 Early Acceptance Interview:

  • Apply by January 7th, 2024, for an early acceptance interview.
  • Early applicants can choose their interview time first and receive extended time to connect with the LOI team, increasing acceptance odds.
  • Notification of Early Acceptance sent on January 10-12th, 2024.

Labs Batch 12 Interview:

  • Founders applying after the early acceptance deadline will be notified of interview progression on January 29th, 2024.

Offer of Admission into Other LOI Programs:

  • Applicants may receive an offer for an alternative LOI program better aligned with their startup's current stage.

The League of Innovators Labs workshop programming happens at 10 am PST/1 pm EST for 60 minutes Tuesday - Thursday. There is a 1 hour mandatory founder huddle scheduled outside these windows. A founder huddle is a weekly group coaching session where you will meet with someone on the League of Innovators team and a handful of other startups to stay accountable to your goals, offer feedback, problem solve and build connections. We are committed to making this program as accessible as possible through offering access to recordings of live sessions (not including founder huddles) and flexibility for your team members to attend each session. 
Are you interested and eligible to participate in the Black Youth Entrepreneur Growth Program Stream in partnership with Black Entrepreneurs and Businesses Society of Canada (BEBC)? *
The Black Youth Entrepreneurs Growth Program is designed to provide Black Youth Entrepreneurs with access to the entire suite of Labs Accelerator Program benefits, including exclusive content, resources, workshops, peer community, business coaching, and a curated stream of resources and tools built specifically for Black Youth Entrepreneurs. To be eligible for the program your youth-led startup must have 1 or more (co)founder that self-identifies as Black on their application.Startups in the Black Youth Entrepreneurs Growth Program also get additional support and resources including: mentorship, masterminds, dedicated slack channel, exclusive entrepreneur in residence, grant and funding support, and community access to the BEBC network.
