Thank you for your interest in the WCAPS Mentorship Program! We hope this program will allow you to connect with a new professional woman of color and make the most out of this opportunity by forging a new relationship and creating a meaningful deliverable!

This iteration of the mentorship program will begin in November 2019 and end in May 2020, spanning a six-month period. Please ensure that you can commit to that time frame before filling out and submitting this questionnaire.

Mentors and mentees will be asked to work together to submit one of two possible deliverables;

Option A: A 5-minute video, in which the mentee will be presenting, that highlights why diverse voices are needed to address a modern-day global peace, security or conflict challenge or problem.

Option B: An op-ed that highlights why diverse voices are needed to address a modern-day global peace, security or conflict challenge or problem. We will share documents on how to write an op-ed, if you decide to write rather than do a video submission.

Examples of such problems include; climate change, food or water security, cybersecurity, immigration, weapons of mass destruction or immigration. The videos or op-ed must be submitted between May 27 and May 31, 2020. Please submit your deliverable to wcaps@wcapsnet.org.
