APPLICATION PROCESS
Your application plays an important role in the structure and functioning of Ängsbacka. We are seeking clear and concise information to be able to welcome you into our shared Yoga & Dance Easter experience.

SERVICE
As a festival volunteer you contribute with 5 hours of working meditation per day. You will have one day off during the festival volunteer camp.

March 26 - April 2nd, 2024 (incl. arrival & departure day)

EASTER CAMP
(March 26 - April 2nd) - 2400 SEK
Your spot as a volunteer is not confirmed until we have received your payment. The price for volunteering at this festival is 50% of the participant price ticket. The price is 2400 SEK. If for any reason you cannot pay at this time it is important that you inform the volunteer office at volunteer@angsbacka.se in order to secure your place. 
The fee includes access to all workshops outside of your working hours, three vegetarian meals per day plus your accommodation in a dormitory room.

ACCOMMODATION
You will sleep in a shared space, on-site together with 4-18 persons of all genders. We can not give anyone a double room or single room, due to the lack of available accommodation. You can also choose to arrange your own accommodation off-site. There is no discount for arranging your own accommodation.

VOLUNTEER CONTRACT
This application form is regarded as a contract between You and the Ängsbacka Volunteer Organisation.
I understand that Ängsbacka has a policy of zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use. Therefore, I agree to stay sober. *
As a volunteer, I commit to *
  • Attending the camp from start to finish (26th March - 2nd April) 
  • Contributing with working meditation 5hrs/day, with one day off 
  • Attending the Morning Circles and sharing during the camp 
  • Supporting the flow of my team by respecting agreements made 
  • If I need to change my agreements I will personally inform and plan this with the volunteer coordinators (Volunteer Office) and my team coordinator
I honour and commit to the 12 Guidelines for Living and Working at Ängsbacka. *
As a volunteer I understand: *
  • That the work may at times be physically and mentally demanding, including lifting and carrying
  • I have no health/mental-health problems or other disabilities that will prevent me from joining as a volunteer
  • I also understand that I will be living and working closely together with many other people, having limited personal time and space
I understand that if I cancel my registration to the event later than the 26th of February 2024, I will not receive a refund without a doctor's note *

What happens next?
1) The hardworking easter bunnies will hastily bring your application to the Volunteer Office where we will read your application and get back to you as soon as possible.

2) Practice breathing and patience. It may take up to 14 days to receive a response from us.  If you have not heard back from us within 14 days - first check you SPAM folder - and then send us an e-mail to volunteer@angsbacka.se.

3) You will recieve an approval mail with a payment link. We encourage you to pay the full volunteer fee as soon as possible to ensure your spot. NOTE: If we have not yet recieved your full payment we can no longer guarantee you a spot.

4) When you've paid you'll receive another e-mail that confirms your spot in the festival camp. 

5) If you for some reason can no longer come to the festival camp, let us know as soon as possible! This helps us enormously in the planning.
