Official Online Vendor Application for 11th Annual Rolla Christkindl Markt Dec. 2, 2023 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Christkindl Markt is an enchanting family market in the tradition of Christmas markets held throughout Germany during the Holiday season.  It is a charming festival with twinkling lights and the sounds and aromas of Christmas.  The event begins Friday evening with Lichternacht (food vendors only).  Christkindl Markt will begin after the Christmas Parade on Dec. 2 and continue until 5:00 p.m.

Christkindl Markt and Lichternacht are GREEN events.  We provide compostable plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery for all food vendors.

  General Terms and Conditions for the  11th Annual Rolla Christkindl Markt December 2, 2023 11:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m. 
1. Assignment of Exhibit Space: Space will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. We reserve the right to limit the number of vendors. We will not hold/guarantee space without receipt of payment. Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a confirmation and space assignment. 
 2. Location: The craft vendor tent will be located on 7th St. between Pine St. and Rolla St. The food vendor tent will be located adjacent to the craft vendor tent on 7th and in the parking lot of the Public House Brewing Company on Rolla St. 
 3. Access Saturday December 2: On Saturday December 2 both the food and craft tents can be accessed from 6 a.m. Streets will begin closing at 8a.m. for the Rolla Christmas parade. Be aware that Rolla St., Pine St. and the access to Pine St. will reopen at 11:00 am but 7th St. will remain closed through Sunday. 
 4. Set Up, Tear Down & Duration: Set up will begin at 6:00 am on Saturday morning December 2. . All booths are to be set-up and open by 10 a.m. and must remain open until 5:00 pm. Early departures and late setups are disruptive and present a safety hazard to the public, as well as a security problem. For security purposes, displays must not protrude beyond assigned areas. It is the vendors responsibility to keep their areas clean and orderly throughout the event. 
 5. Parking: Vendors may be assigned a parking space in one of the downtown lots on an space available basis. Parking is free in the downtown area, however street parking may be restricted due to event related street closings. 
 6. Electricity Requirements/Equipment: duty requirements, please advise us in advance. Please bring your own extension cords (50 to 100 foot 12 gauge wire recommended). Standard 110 Volt outlets are available with 20 amp capability. Clearly label your extension cord as your property. 
 7. Security: Security is provided during event hours. 
 8. Staffing: Vendors are required to maintain a staff person at their booth at all times during the event. 
 9. Cancellation Policy & Returned Checks: You may cancel with a full refund through November 12. No refunds will be issued after November 12. A $50.00 charge will be administered for all returned checks. 
 10. Loss, Damage, Theft and Destruction of Property: The Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company shall not under any circumstances be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, theft or destruction caused to any goods, equipment or any other property belonging to a vendor. Nor shall the Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company be responsible for loss, damage, theft or destruction of property belonging to the vendor resulting from a change of date, time or location of the event or the abandonment of the event by the vendor. 
11. Injury or Death: The Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company shall not under any circumstances be liable or responsible for any injury or death suffered by a vendor or his/her servants, agents, employees or by any other person for any reason during the event including setup and take down. Nor shall the Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company be responsible for any injury or death resulting from a change of date, time or location of the event or the abandonment of the event by the vendor. 
12. Vendor Liability: The vendor shall be liable for all loss, damage, injury, claim cost and expenses caused to any person or property in any circumstances whatsoever by the vendor, his/her servants, agents, employees or any other person. The vendor shall be responsible for the loss of goods, exhibits, fittings, machinery and any other property belonging to the vendor for which the vendor is responsible and the vendor hereby agrees to indemnify the Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company in respect of any such loss, damage, injury claims, cost and expenses as aforesaid and all or any infringement of copyright or breach of license. Any contractual agreement made between a vendor and any supplier shall be between those parties and Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company shall not be a party thereto nor incur any liability on behalf of any one exhibitor in such contractual arrangement. 
 13. Event Cancellation: If prevented from holding the event by any cause beyond the control of the Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company or if the vendor cannot occupy their rented space due to circumstances beyond the control of the Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company including, but not limited to, civil disobedience, inclement weather, acts of God, illness or suppliers, the Rolla Area Sister City Association, City of Rolla, and Public House Brewing Company shall have no further obligation or liability to the vendor. 
 PLEASE NOTE:
 ● We reserve the right to review applications to determine appropriateness to the theme of Christkindl Markt. 
 ● Food vendors are required to obtain the appropriate permits from Phelps County Health Dept. 
 ● Authentic German foods will receive priority consideration. 
 ● The City has waived the requirment for Peddler's Permits.  Food vendors must have the Health Dept. Permit.
