Please fill out this submission form to be considered to play one of the two local spotlight music stages during the Champlain Valley Fair: Friday August 23 - Sunday September 1.

What you’re applying for:

With the exception of the opening day (Friday August 23rd), you’re applying to play three 45-minute sets throughout one day of the Fair. The Bayner Stage sets are typically 12pm, 2:30pm, and 5:30pm. The Gazebo Stage is typically 1pm, 4pm, and 6:15pm. (Friday, August 23rd, will be one 1-hour set - typically 4:30pm or 5:30pm) These times are subject to change.

Complete sound system and engineer is provided for each stage.

Also, please understand, you are applying to play the Champlain Valley Fair on any date of Champlain Valley Fair’s choosing between August 23rd through September 1st. Acts will be put on specific stages and specific dates based on the information you provide and other acts/shows going on that day in the Grandstand.

What we're looking for:

Solo, Duo, or Trio acts without drums. Larger acts and acts with drums will be considered, but the stages are better suited for smaller and more acoustic acts.

All genres are accepted bearing no illicit material.  The Fair is a family friendly environment.

To be considered, you will need to primarily be an original act – no cover bands. If you are an original act and play a few covers, that’s fine, but your sets will need to be comprised of mostly original material.

Submissions will be accepted from Monday, February 12th through end of business day (5pm) April 15th. All submissions will be listened to and considered.  Please do not contact us to see where your submission is in the process. Will we do our best to answer your submission regardless of acceptance. Due to the number of submissions, we may not be able to answer all of them.  Details of the show (payout, schedule, set times, etc.) will be sent to you in a separate email if considered.

All accepted submissions will be notified shortly after the close of submission date and the roster will be set around the end of April/early May.  Contract and show details will be shared after acceptance notification. Incomplete applications will not be eligible, so be sure to complete the application in its entirety. Thank you for your submission!  We look forward to hearing you!
