Registration for Arts West Council's Artists' Retreat 2024
The 33rd Annual Arts West Council's Artists' Retreat is now accepting registration for June 16 - 21st, 2024.
The Artists' Retreat will be held at Riding Mountain Conference Centre (Camp Wannakumbac) which is in Clear Lake, Manitoba.

This five-day event will provide participants with an opportunity to concentrate on developing their artistic skills and goals under the supervision of experienced professional instructors.
All courses are 6 hours a day for the aforementioned five days.

The Retreat is open to 40 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes which have reached their maximum will be updated to reflect such on this form as soon as possible. Spots are reserved with a $100 nonrefundable deposit. Registrants may not switch classes after they have begun.

Because of the retreat setting and focus, we ask that registrants do not bring non-participating guests or pets.

Accommodations are dormitory style with centralized bathroom facilities and  metal bunks with mattresses. (Beds are springy, so you may wish to bring a board or cot.) Registrants must bring their own bedding, pillows, towels, etc. RVs, trailers and campers can be accommodated with plug-ins.

Meals are included with the camp fee which includes home-style standard or plant-based. There is also a gluten-free friendly meal option available for a $50 surcharge payable directly to the camp. Dietary accommodation must be arranged with the RMCC (Riding Mountain Conference Centre) at least two weeks before camp. (Registrants are welcome to supplement meals with groceries from home. There is a fridge & microwave is available.)

Check-in & Set Up: Sunday, June 16th after 6pm (evening snack supplied)

Classes: Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm (Friday am or pm crit.)

Check-out: Friday, June 21st - 4pm
Evening Programs: Sunday night, a "meet and greet" will be held in the dining hall. Several optional evening programs are scheduled throughout the week.
