West Linn Old Time Fair Parade
We're BACK! And we can't wait to see you at this year's West Linn Old Time Fair Parade!

In a nod to the 100 year anniversary of the Arch Bridge, our theme for this year's parade is PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE!

Saturday, July 16th, 2022.

Anyone is welcome to register and participate on the day of the parade, prior to 8:30 am, but participants who would like their entries judged must submit this form by midnight on Saturday, July 2, 2022.

8:00-8:30am Check in and Registration: at the corner of Willamette Falls Drive and 11th
9:00am Judging in staging area (you will be directed when you check in)
10:00am Parade begins!
Entry Rules
▪ All Entries should try to reflect the parade theme.
▪ All parade entrants must report to the check in booth between 8:00am and 8:30am to receive parade day instructions.
▪ The parade is not a forum for overt commercialization.  Political and religious entries are welcome, but entrants are reminded that the parade is for the enjoyment, not education, of the viewers.  
▪ Printed literature is not to be distributed as it causes a litter problem.
▪ Please be cautious when tossing candy from car or float.  We do not want children running into the streets in front of cars.
▪ Candy may be tossed by people walking next to the float or car.
▪ All applicants must agree to the Waiver included on this entry form.
▪ All drivers must hold a valid driver's license and vehicle should have a full tank of gas.
▪ All entries with horses shall load and unload the animals in the designated area.
▪ All equestrian entries must be accompanied by an adult and provide a "scooper."

Disclaimer and Hold Harmless Agreement
1.  As a participant in an event(s) at the West Linn Old Time Fair Parade, I/We recognize that there are certain risks of physical injury and property damage, and I/We agree to assume full risk and responsibility for injuries, including loss of life, personal injuries, property damages and expenses that I/We may sustain or that I/We may cause while participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with the events.

2.  I/We agree to waive, relinquish, release and discharge all claims and demands to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the West Linn Old Time Fair Committee, Historic Willamette - A Main Street Community, and the City of West Linn and their officers, agents, servants and employees, from any and all claims and demands arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with my/our participation in all activities of the above named event(s) or activities in which I/We are participating.

3.  For reasons of safety and security, I/We will be under full command of the parade officials from 8:00 AM formation until the end of the parade when it officially disbands.  If any person is less than 18 years of age, the parent, legal guardian or group leader will assume full responsibility.  Parent/legal guardian's signature is required below.  It is suggested that group leaders distribute a waiver of their own to each of their members.

4.  All entries with horses shall load and unload the animals in the designated area.  A map will be available at the registration table.  All equestrian entries must be accompanied by an adult at all times and provide a "scooper".
