2024 - Field to Fibre Festival - Workshop Application
Thank you for your interest in hosting a workshop at the Field to Fibre Festival. Workshops will take place the day before the Festival, on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 in Beachburg, Ontario.

Information to consider prior to submitting an application

Selection Process:

The maximum length of your workshop can be from one hour to a maximum of 12 hours if provided over two days (we could hold space on Sunday, Sep 29th as well with advance notice)

Space will be limited for workshops. The selection committee will utilize the following criteria:

  • Relevance of class (relationship to textile or fibre arts)
  • Technique
  • Creativity
  • Originality
  • Space availability

Information to provide to Student:

Instructors will be required to work together with event coordinators to create an information package for all students. Important information such as advance homework, as well as required or supplied materials will make for the best workshop experience. 

If you are providing supply/material kits to participants, please note whether or not kit fees are refundable.

Students will want to know more about you! Your biography is not only a great way to promote your business or work, but it is always of great interest to participants as well.

Compensation Model:

- Instruction Fee set by instructor
- Supply kit fee (optional) set and coordinated by instructor
- Facility fee of $15 reserved by event organizers

All registration fees are collected by event organizers. Instructors are remunerated upon the completion of the event. 

Promotion: 

When completing this application, please provide the information that you would like to see displayed on our website. Our coordinator may suggest minor edits to ensure consistency across all workshop descriptions. 

As part of your contract, we ask that you promote the Field to Fibre Festival on your own social media channels. Information and tags will be provided.
