We need to know all the gear you have, in detail. From this we'll let you know what we recommend for the workshops you will be taking.
Landscapes astrophotography requires at minimum a Camera, Lens, Tripod, Star Tracker, Intervalometer (batteries and memory cards), laptop, apps on your cell phone, and image processing softwares.
Imaging DSO (deep space objects) requires the following gear:
Camera - Dslr / Mirrorless / Astro-modified Cooled Camera
Tracker / Equatorial Mount (Sidereal Tracking)
Lens or a telescope
Power Source (12v portable battery)
Shutter remote control intervalometer or dedicated software to trigger the camera (Asiair Pro or laptop)
Tripod – steady tripod to hold the tracker
Bachinov focus masks
Suitable skies conditions - no moon/no clouds in a dark site (using apps)
Polar Alignment – using a polar scope with computer or an app
Filters – Narrowband imaging to shoot from light polluted skies or to enhance specific wave length in the target even from dark skies
Editing Software – Alignment, Stacking, Stretching
