VAHWQP drinking water clinics have been conducted in nearly every county across Virginia, and 35,000 samples have been analyzed and results returned to participants. Drinking water clinics are organized by your local Extension Agent and Virginia Tech faculty in the Biological Systems Engineering Department. Participation is voluntary. Anyone with a private water supply system (including wells, springs, and cisterns) may participate. Our water testing includes bacteria, lead, arsenic, and 11 other contaminants that may cause health problems or make your water taste or smell bad. The Virginia Household Water Quality program offers affordable water testing and education to improve the water quality and health of Virginians who rely on wells and springs.

Cost will be $70 per kit. Once registration opens you will be able to pay online with Credit Card or at the King George Extension office with Cash/Check.

IF interested in participating please complete the following form. This is not a registration. This simply adds your name to our list so when the registration for this event opens in August, the details on how to register can be emailed to you. All the Testing Kits are pre-ordered and having an accurate numbers and information helps insure everyone interested has the opportunity to participate.
