2021 LWV Texas Strategic Plan Survey
The goal of the strategic plan is to determine actions which will continue to build a more modern League positioned toward the future and growth of the organization and to support long term goals to sustain the League's mission of empowering voters. defending democracy in Texas while allowing flexibility to respond quickly and effectively to current needs of the organization and the political environment.
In the expanding (and ever more crowded) democracy space, defining where the League will boldly lead is critical. This relies upon the ability to consistently articulate our story and establish goals that we can continue to attract donors, supporters, and members as well as continue to have the impact that we want on our democracy.
Four critical priorities of LWVUS:
1. Advancing a clear strategic focus
2. Building a more inclusive culture
3. Building a healthier League network
4. Increasing capacity at all levels
What will NOT change are the core elements of who we are as an organization:
- The League will continue to focus on our mission impact work.
- The League will remain nonpartisan.
- The League will remain a membership organization.
