Market Regulations
Please review the ASAP Market regulations:

FEES
✅ The vendor fee is $30 for each Saturday market and will be collected by the manager at the end of each market.
✅ Cancellations must be made no later than 8 pm on Wednesday. This is done by filling out the cancellation form (included in each week's vendor email). No shows or repeat late cancellations of approved dates will result in potential loss of position with the market.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
✅ The street will close at 7:30 AM.
✅ Arrive to the market at least 30 minutes prior to opening. Your booth must be completely set-up by the time the market opens at 9 am.
✅ Vendors may not break down tents, tables or displays before 12pm, even if there is not product left to sell. This so that customers are encouraged to come to the market, even if it is close to closing time. We want to make sure the market still feels inviting to encourage customers to return.
✅ Vendors are not permitted to drive away until 12:10pm. The reason for this rule is so that customers are encouraged to come to the market, even if it is close to closing time. The reason vendors are not permitted to drive until 12:10pm is for customer safety.
✅ Food scraps and waste must be picked up off the ground before leaving.

GENERAL
✅ Vendors who offer a ready-to-eat product with packaging MUST provide a trash dispenser and pack it out.
✅  All vendors accepting SNAP tokens are required to display prices of their products.
✅ Initial participation in the market does not guarantee continued vending and the vendor pool will be re-evaluated weekly.
✅ The ASAP Market is a 'producer only' market.  That means all items being sold must be produced by the seller or their listed representative (e.g. family member, employee or intern involved in production, or partner). Basically, you can not resell an item you bought or received from another business or person without approval from the manager.
✅ Vendors may only sell products listed on this application. Requests to list a new product must be submitted in writing or by email prior to sale and are approved at the discretion of the market manager.
✅All market vendors are required to participate in the market’s token program, you will receive information about this program upon acceptance.
✅Products must have clearly displayed prices
✅Vendors may set up a canopy tent to protect from weather.  All tents must have weights heavy enough to hold it down in high winds. We recommend 20lbs on each tent leg.
✅Asheville City Market requires that all vendors comply with standards of professionalism that promote open communication, mutual respect, and the best interests of the market.  Disruptive actions or remarks that undermine the shared success of any or all of our community of vendors are unprofessional and unacceptable.  Failure to comply with these standards could result in suspension or removal from the market.
