Students who participated in Cohort 2 (23-24 AY) and are interested in applying for a second service term with College Corps, please complete this interest form and we will connect with you to provide you with more information and the link to the continuing student application.
Please review the following before submitting this interest form:
- To be eligible for second term, students must be on track and ultimately complete 300-450 hours by May 31st, 2024.
- Understand that to be eligible for second service term, you must meet all programmatic eligibility requirements
- Understand that before re-applying for a second service term, you must meet with College Corps program staff beforehand to review the expectations and review the Returning Fellow info. session slide deck.
- Understand that fellows must be able to commit an average of 12-15 hours per week throughout the service term.
- Understand that as a returning fellow, this entails a leadership/mentorship position as a Lead Fellow and it is required to take part as co-facilitators in the in-person, bi-weekly Team Circles held Friday mornings from 9:30am- 11:30am. Lead Fellows will have the opportunity to account these hours as training hours.
- Understand as a Lead Fellow, you will have the opportunity to take part in the outreach and training component of the program, which will allow the ability to gain and strengthen skills in presentation, facilitation, and conflict resolution. Lead Fellows will have the opportunity to account these hours both as training and service hours.
- Understand that attendance (includes in-person activities) is a requirement to participate as a returning Fellow in Cohort 3.
- Be willing to commute to and from campus for bi-weekly Team Circles and to community host site.
- Maintain a growth mindset and understand that there will be programmatic changes to ensure compliance and a greater impact in experience in Cohort 3
- Understand that you may or may not have the same community host organization site placement. This depends of several factors, such as if current Year 2 agencies are participating in Year 3, schedule conflict, site placement performance evaluation, etc.
