PyLadies Vienna mentorship programme

This one-to-one programme is aiming on connecting mentees with mentors based on needs and wishes of the mentee and expertise of the mentors.

How to join as a mentor and how does it work?

  1. Fill out this form and we will reach out to you once we find an available mentee matching your wishes - it can take some time, but we shall not forget about you!

  2. We will put you in touch with your mentee and provide you with a starting guide and draft possible first steps.

  3. Mentorship do not have a specific start and end - you can start at any time of the year

What is a role of mentor?
  1. You should work together with the mentee on achieving their goal
  2. You should maintain active participation in the Programme via regular meetings until the planned end

How many hours is it expected to spend with a mentee? Up to discussion and in the end coming from a shared agreement with the mentee, but generally expected to be at least 3 hours a month. You can, of course, spend more time than this to make the most of both mentee and mentor experience.
