The student attends a multi-disciplinary clinic at a GP surgery during week 6. This clinic runs as a ‘one-stop shop’ in which the patient may see a number of practitioners including the dietitian. A patient who has been kept waiting for more than 1 hour is understandably frustrated and angry by the time they are called into the consultation room. The B Placement student fully describes the situation but the reflection lacks depth. You know that the student is not a natural reflector so are uncertain how to strengthen their reflective skills.
