Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at the  2024 MCC Thunderbird Pow Wow, Please thoroughly complete the information below.

Physical location: MCC Soccer field 

Both Non-Profit and Arts & Craft Vendors will be provided with one 10x10 Space. All Vendors must provide their own tables, canopies, chairs and power sources. No Stakes allowed, please bring canopy weights.

Non Profit- $0.00 
Arts & Craft Vendors- $200.00
Food Vendors- $400.00 (Please Read Additional Food Vendor Info Below) 

Payment Info: All Vendor Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Upon completing the Vendor Application, an ISO Team member will reach out to provide Payment Instructions. 

Additional Food Vendor Info: All Food vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) prior to the event with the following information stated on the COI. To obtain a COI, you can utilize the recommended https://www.eventsured.com/ or any authorized event insurance provider.  
  • Certificate Holder: Maricopa Community Colleges Mesa Community College 1833 W Southern Ave Mesa, AZ 85202
  • Additional Insured: Maricopa County Community College District, its agents, officers, officials, employees, and volunteers are hereby named as additional insured as their interests may appear. 
  • Required Coverages: General Liability • General Aggregate $2,000,000 • Products – Completed Operations Aggregate $1,000,000 • Personal and Advertising Injury $1,000,000 • Damage to Rented Premises $50,000 • Each Occurrence $1,000,000 
  • Grease & Oil Disposal: will be the food vendors responsibility
  • All Food Vendors must supply their own water and hand washing station
  • Environmental Services Department Permit May be Required at an additional cost- Permit Type Environmental/Environmental Health/Food/Temporary Food Service. If you have a Food Catering Permit, Mobile Food Establishment Permit or a Cottage Food Vendor Permit you will not need to purchase the Temporary Food service Permit. 
Set Up: All Vendors can begin to Set Up by 9am. All Vendors MUST be set up by 11am. NO GROUND STAKES, MUST SECURE CANOPIES WITH WEIGHTS. 

Restrictions: ISO Club will be the ONLY Vendor Permitted to Sell Water, Soda and Popcorn

MCC Thunderbird Pow Wow Arts & Craft, Non-Profit & Food Vendor Rules and Regulations: 

1. BOOTH FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
2. No advertisement and/or endorsements of any political candidate is NOT permitted. All political booths must be non-partisan
3. Vendors will be responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, power source and canopies that fit
within the provided 10x10 space.
4. Arts and Craft Vendors will sell authentic Native American items. Imitation Native American items will
NOT be permitted.
6. Selling of knives, weapons, silly string, fireworks/novelty fireworks, pop-its, or pipes will NOT be
permitted
7. Items made in China and India must be labeled accordingly.
8. Amplified music will not be permitted.
9. Absolutely NO alcohol or drugs will be permitted.
10. Property damage of which you are responsible for will be charged to you.
11. Due to state regulations, camping, and open fires will NOT be allowed.
12. NO water and soda vendors are allowed (water and soda will be sold by the Inter-Tribal Student
Organization.)
13. Please do not leave children unattended.
14. The Inter-Tribal Student Organization and the American Indian Institute of Mesa Community College will not be held
accountable for injuries, damages, or stolen merchandise/property.
15. Any vendor that does not abide by these rules will not be permitted to sell or exhibit their wares.
16. You will be allowed to drive onto the field permitting the following conditions. Please observe these
rules.
• Drive on only after you have checked-in with the vendor coordinator
• Your vehicle MUST be off the field 30 minutes before the powwow starts (11am), NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Please UNLOAD your vehicle completely before setting up your booth.
• You must remove your vehicle once you have unloaded your wares.
• You will not be allowed to drive on to load or unload during the event
• You can load your vehicle at night after the powwow is over.
