A position on the JB Board requires a minimum time commitment of one Sunday a month, two weekend-long planning retreats (one in August/September and one in December/January), and attendance at the Winter mini-camp over President's Day weekend in February and selection events for summer programs. JB members will also need to periodically help plan and coordinate activities leading up to the monthly JB meetings.  Presidential leadership positions require travel to CISV National events.
