About Us: The Oregon Chapter of the Wildlife Society (ORTWS) is a non-profit 501(c)3 professional organization and represents over 300 wildlife professionals in the state. One of our chapter’s goals is to provide information on wildlife issues to aid public discussion of natural resource management in our state and to promote the application of sound science in resource management decisions.

About the Undergraduate Conference Volunteer Program: ORTWS is providing free lodging for up to 20 undergraduate student volunteers during the three nights of the 2024 ORTWS Conference held in Hood River, Oregon. Student volunteers are expected to sign up and complete 4 hours of volunteering during the conference, in exchange for this provided housing. As a volunteer you will help the ORTWS Board ensure that the conference runs smoothly. This could include helping with: running the registration desk, computer assistance in the presentation rooms, selling raffle tickets, driving a van, and more.  Learn more about the conference at our website: https://ortws.org/events/annual-conference/

To qualify you should be:

--a student member of The Wildlife Society. Annual chapter member dues are $15 for OR and can be paid at the time of registration.

--able to show you have registered to attend at least two days of the Annual Conference in Hood River within one week of selection. This will ensure that you can register under the Early Bird price.
