Post and Boost Certification Assessment

Thank you for your interest in working with Post and Boost®. This Google Form assessment outlines all the details we've covered as a part of the recruitment, training and certification process.

We want to make sure you have a working knowledge of our photography process before your photoshoot with our client. At Post and Boost, we’re consistently creating effective posts leveraging custom photography, and it’s important we match the right photographer with each client.

As a part of our initial conversations leading to this assessment opportunity, we've shared information with you in email, over the phone, in videos and through our slide decks. Each exchange offered details to train you towards understanding our process.

This assessment has been designed to pull on the details you've learned about the company, the photography process and your role with Post and Boost as a contract Funeral Home Photographer.

To start, please confirm your basic information and tell us a little more about yourself.

REMINDER: Set Up and Editing
Our jobs are about a half day - this includes both the photoshoot and organizing the images and uploading to the shared Google Drive folder.

We encourage our photographers to use a point-and-shoot method to help minimize the effort in managing equipment, from both a time and cost perspective. And we trust your ability to produce well-lit, in-focus pictures without spending excessive time editing.

Our photoshoots are typically scheduled during the week and start in the morning.
Can you make time for this kind of session in your schedule?
Can you typically work weekdays?
Are you willing to learn and incorporate our method - the Funeral Home Photography Process (including how we incorporate Full and Partial Routes with individuals) -  as a core part of your work with us?

Do you have experience using a file manager on a computer (examples: File Explorer in Windows; Finder on a Mac)? And can you organize your images into named folders and upload these folders to Post and Boost using the Google Drive link shared with you?

To Confirm: All images will be the property of Post and Boost, Inc.

We are contracting you for point-and-shoot work and directing that pictures will be taken with professional exposure/lighting and focus. Images should be captured at a 3:2 aspect ratio with a landscape/horizontal orientation.

You are not being contracted to work on editing (although if your process includes some kind of time-efficient batch editing as it relates to exposure/lighting and/or saturation, we are absolutely fine with that), retouching or cropping; and you will not insert your name or logo on any image (no watermarking).

Do you understand and agree to the fact that Post and Boost, Inc. will own the images you capture during our photoshoots?
